Let’s look at a Forex binary options example to see how this works. One common price action pattern a lot of traders work with is the inside-4-bar. This pattern looks like four small bars that are all “inside” the length of a bar directly proceeding them (they may or may not be inside each other).

As you’ll soon realize after watching my videos, I’m not here to bullshit you or waste your time. At the same time however, I’m not here to hold your hand, trading binary options is a hard task and is not fit for everyone. All of the videos I’ve provided are free of charge and are uploaded on Youtube, so you can watch them at your leisure anytime and anywhere you want. All of the lessons are taught from a neutral standpoint, what you do with the information is up to you. This is where the hard work comes in, you’re expected to put in the effort to figure out. Don’t worry too much though, I provide plenty of chart examples to illustrate the theory.

My fourth and final trade was back with EUR/GBP. It was ITM by about 4 pips as well. My reasoning for this trade was because price was continuously being rejected around .81057. I waited for price to come down and reach that level again, and see if it was going to push though. After price reached that level, it had more rejection, in the form of another Pin bar. I also had confluence from the Value Chart as well as the fact the EMA’s were flattening out, signaling the downtrend was slowing to range for a while.

Multiple time frame analysis is a sure way to increase your chances of success.  Think of it as consulting the ‘higher powers’.  If I’m trading binary options that expire every 15 minutes then I’m not just looking at a 15 minute price chart;  I’m scanning multiple charts – 60 minute, 240 minute and daily charts.  Now I can see how Price Action is developing across numerous time horizons.  If all the time frames are telling me the same story I know I could be onto a high probability trade.

The binary options trader buys a call  when bullish on a stock, index, commodity or currency pair, or a put  on those instruments when bearish. For a call to make money, the market must trade above the strike price at the expiration time. For a put to make money, the market must trade below the strike price at the expiration time. The strike price, expiration date, payout and risk are disclosed by the broker when the trade is first established. For most high-low binary options traded outside the ., the strike price is the current price or rate of the underlying financial product. Therefore, the trader is wagering whether the price on the expiration date will be higher or lower than the current price. (For more, see What is the history of binary options? )

Taking signals is super easy, just like he says. Simply wait for price action to reach a line of support or resistance. Once there, wait for a signal of reversal and then take the trade. For binary options traders this means buying a high or call position if prices is reversing from support or a put/low position if it is reversing from resistance. Nick says the trades are usually good for 30-50 pips so I think that one hour to end of day expiration is best for binary trades.

Other Greeks do exist but have little weight compared to the above’s delta, gamma, theta and vega. In 15 years of options market-making in the pits and subsequently in front of (soul-destroying) screens these were the Greeks that concerned me, with Greeks such as Rho (Rho measures the option price change with respect to a change in interest rates) having little bearing, even less so nowadays with global interest rates being so low.
